Virtual APAC Open Source Community Sprint (Hackathon)!

About this event

The Salesforce.org Open Source Commons invites you to join us for a fun day (11am-5pm) of community collaboration at the first virtual APAC Community Sprint event! Community Sprints are the meet-ups (either in-person or virtual) part of the Open Source Commons Program. Open Source Commons provides the space and resources for us all to work toward a better future, together.

What happens at a Sprint event?

You'll collaborate with other Nonprofit and Education focused community members, and contribute solutions into the Salesforce ecosystem! Every Community Sprint is a little different as each one includes unique individuals and projects. The community, not Salesforce, drives project work. Check out SFDO Community Sprints on GitHub for a look at past projects, many of which are still a work-in-progress.

Who attends a Sprint event?

Regardless of your role in the community consider your passion, your goals, what brings you joy, and how you best want to contribute to the Community Sprint. At a Community Sprint anything can happen! How you define your role in the community is a good indicator of the types of activities you will contribute to during the Sprint.

If you have any questions on what the Sprint experience is like, please feel free to contact event organisers at sfdo-opensource@salesforce.com.

If you’d like a personal welcome from the community Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team, feel free to reach out to them directly at opensourcedei@gmail.com.

We are continuing with a virtual format for our APAC Sprint to support the health and safety of everyone. We can't wait to see you!
