About This Event

The enterprise sales role is changing faster than most people realize, and the salespeople who thrive won’t be the ones competing with AI. They’ll be the ones who’ve mastered it.

Join us for the November Ottawa Salesforce User Group meetup, held under the Salesblazer banner, as we bring together a panel of sales leaders and Salesforce practitioners to explore how AI is compressing research, admin, and demo prep from weeks into minutes and what that means for the future of human-to-human selling.

This is a panel Q&A session, not a keynote. Expect candid, conversational insights from people actively navigating these shifts inside their own organizations plus time for your questions.

Panel Theme

“The best enterprise seller of the future isn’t the one who knows the most — it’s the one who uses AI to protect the most time for real human connection.”

We’ll explore:

·       How tools like Salesforce Agentforce (running inside Slack) are collapsing multi-week research tasks into minutes

·       What the evolution of the BDR and AE roles looks like over the next 2–5 years

·       The lasting competitive edge: why human judgment and relationship depth still win the deal

·       Practical workflows: recording a client call, feeding it to an AI agent, and getting a tailored demo, use case map, and quote all in under 5 minutes

Meet the Panellists

Dan Pavlica — Account Executive, Salesforce Canada (Federal & Public Sector) Dan covers Canadian federal government accounts at Salesforce and has been at the forefront of using Salesforce’s own AI tools in his day-to-day sales motion. He brings a grounded, practitioner’s perspective on what’s working now and what the next two years will look like for enterprise sellers.

Julien Leclair-Dionne — Associate Director, Growth & Partnerships, University of Ottawa – Professional Development Institute (PDI) Julien brings more than 20 years of experience across enterprise technology, consulting, business development, and higher education, including leadership roles at Accenture, SAP, and Workday. At PDI, he leads growth, large-account development, and strategic partnerships across government, defence, industry, and international markets, while also teaching artificial intelligence and digital transformation as a professor at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.
