About this event

We are returning after a Covid Hiatus, with a new virtual event format. For this this first meeting, the first part of the meeting will be a short presentation Kyle O'Brian from Revolent (see below). Revolent have an interesting business model that includes placing people into non-profits to help with some Pro Bono expertise.

For the second part of the meeting, we will have group discussion about what you would like to see from the group moving forward. How should we organise ourselves for the foreseeable future? We are really looking forward to catching up with some of our friends and meeting some new people.

We are sticking to our 'traditional' timeslot of 4pm on the last Weds of the month for now, but have cut the meeting time down to 1 hour.

Agenda:

1. Kyle O'Brian will showcase Revolent, an innovative training academy that includes pro bono project work in their program

Revolent is a Salesforce authorised training academy that focusses on ‘cross-training’ experienced IT professionals into Salesforce and bringing impressive net-new talent (called Revols) into our ecosystem. The two-year Revolent programme combines fully funded Salesforce training and certifications with practical work experience. For candidates, Revolent provides a risk-free opportunity to transition careers and for clients it offers an alternative way to bring cost-effective resource into your business.

The innovative program welcomes applicants from all walks of life and their progressive delivery model is built to enhance social mobility. Revolent deliver a blend of virtual and in-person training courses targeting a wide geographic talent base, making the program accessible to everyone. Revolent believes that great minds think differently so they bring together a broad spectrum of life experiences, ethnicities, nationalities and more.

Basecamp

Revolent Basecamp Week is a 7-day program that is positioned at the end of the ‘Revols’ initial training boot-camp and offers support to charities and not-for-profit organisations using Salesforce. With the assistance of mentors from Salesforce, our newly certified talented roster of fledgling admins and developers will work with you to understand your CRM and data problems. They’ll then work in teams to put together an appropriate scope and design with technical, practical and actionable advice on how your org can be optimized, along with a deliverability plan.

Whether you’re someone who’s looking for your next career move or a charity looking for pro-bono support from a trusted source – come along to our next user group to find out more.

2. Open discussion - what is the future of the group the Covid era?
