Charitable Soft Opt In (Nick Swain)
The rules are changing for charities who wish to send marketing and fundraising messages to individuals by electronic mail (email, SMS, etc), and in some cases you won’t need consent any more. In this short session Nick will explain the background and why it has been different for charities since 2003, what’s changing now, how charities might choose to take advantage of the new rules and guidance, what practical steps you need to discuss and take, and the pitfalls to be aware of. There will be time for Q&A.
