After last month's excellent session on unit testing we're back with automated testing and a look what the Summer 24 release means for Salesforce developers.

Please note that this is an IN-PERSON event only, and sadly due to repeat no-shows we might have to start REFUSING ENTRY to folk if they RSVP and repeatedly don't make the events. This is something we really want to enforce, but many folk have not been able to attend the events due to others taking up a ticket and then not showing up. We understand that plans do change, but if they do please update your RSVP as soon as you can.

Automated Salesforce Testing - Latha Gopalakrishnan

In this talk we'll cover;

• How Zopa uses Provar to test Salesforce system.
• How we incorporated automated testing in our Continuous Integration Jenkins pipeline.
• How we evidence Provar testing in JIRA for requirement traceability.
• What are the current challenges we have in Provar implementation.
• How to automate salesforce using Rest Assured api for integration testing to overcome current Provar challenges

Key take away for the attendees would be

• Alternative approach or different ways to test salesforce platform without using UI or manual testing.
• Benefits of automated testing and shift left testing as early as possible to improve quality of releases.

Keir is back again with his thrice-yearly run-down of what's new and hot in the Summer 24 release. We'll cover the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to what this release holds for Salesforce developers.
