About this event

Overview

Join us for a fun, fast-paced mini hackathon where you'll use Agentforce Vibes or low-code tools of your choice to tackle a surprise challenge. Go solo or form a team, and race to build creative, working solutions before time runs out! This is a great opportunity to try out Agentforce Vibes or other vibe coding tools. If you're already familiar with them, it'll be a fun mini-hack either way. No prior experience is required, although experience with Salesforce development is helpful to debug inevitable mistakes that Agentforce Vibes makes.

Details

  1. Challenge details will be provided at the beginning of the event. Expect a simple, winter-themed business case with multiple steps and plenty of options on how to implement it.

  2. You'll need to use code and no-code components to solve all of the challenge steps (i.e. fields, flows, lightning web components).

  3. You can work solo or join a team. We'll give a little time at the beginning to find teammates.

  4. When times runs out, we'll take turns presenting solutions and lessons learned.

  5. Winners will be decided based on audience voting.

Prizes

Top 3 teams based on audience voting will get their choice from the Salesforce swag pile!

Food and Drink

We'll provide dinner and drinks. Details to come closer to the event.

Preparation

To make the most of the time there, we recommend you come prepared with your IDE and vibe coding tool(s) of choice.

Trailhead: Install Visual Studio Code (Recommended): this Trailhead sets up everything you need for Agentforce Vibes.

GitHub Copilot (Optional): If you want to try it out and don't already have it through work, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial.

Claude Code: (Optional): You do need a paid subscription or a paid API key to use this, but another option if you want. Your total cost would still be less than a dinner out.

Cline: (Optional): This is the plugin that Agentforce vibes is built on. You can install for free, and then plug in whatever AI tools API key you want to use.

Getting There

Enter off Wazee street on the center of the block, and go up the elevators behind the security desk to the third floor. This is the entrance between the Maven hotel and the dairy block restaurants. If you arrive after 5pm, we will have someone there to scan a badge and let you up.

On the third floor, we will be meeting in the open area on the far side of the VentureX co-working space.

We recommend getting there before 5pm, as we will be starting the hack as soon as we can.

Public Transit

This location is only a few blocks from Union Station, so we recommend taking light rail or bus to Union Station and then walking over.

Parking

Since this event will be longer than two hours, we recommend using the music garage across the street.
