First up we have Cindy Sia, AI Technical Architect, and Edzard Wesselink, Managing Director & Partner, from BCG:

As GenAI and agentic AI use cases move from experimentation into live government services, architects have a critical role in designing systems that are secure, auditable, governed, and fit for responsible adoption. Drawing on Trust Imperative 5.0, this session will explore how AI assurance changes the delivery lifecycle and what architects need to consider around delegated authority, shared responsibility, and monitoring when working with government agencies, vendors or implementation partners.

Our second presenter will be Jeremy Hamilton, Salesforce Solution Architect from Synechron:

Our team recently delivered an advisory engagement for a state government births, deaths, and marriages registry. This advisory gave executives a practical reform roadmap that could show them how they could move away from their ageing technology and manual processes. As part of the advisory engagement, Jeremy was engaged to deliver a rapid Salesforce proof-of-concept to demonstrate the proposed future state for the registry's Doctor's Certificate Cause of Death process. This was identified as a complex, labour-intensive process that could be significantly improved upon with automation. With the help of Claude Code, the Salesforce CLI, and agentic-engineering workflows and techniques, Jeremy delivered this within 3 weeks.

Join us to connect or re-connect with the Melbourne Salesforce Architects Community, and to have a bite to eat and a drink or two. Please note that you will need to collect a QR code from our little station in the foyer so please try to arrive no later than 6:30pm (we will be kicking off presentations shortly after).

This is an inclusive event. So, whether you are an architect, an aspiring architect, or just interested in the journey or the discussion you are welcome to join us!
