May 10, 12:00 – 1:00 AM (UTC)

Salesforce Admin Group, Portland, OR, United States

Get release ready with our review of the Summer '24 release notes.

About this event

(To the tune of Will Smith’s “Summertime”)

(Verse 1) 🎵 Drums please, summer, summer, summertime

Time to sit back and unwind

Here it is, the groove slightly transformed

Just a bit of a break from the norm

A little somethin’ to break the monotony

Of all that hardcore code that has gotten to be

A little bit out of control, it’s cool to debug

But what about the flow that soothes

That moves automation, give me a soft, subtle mix

And if it ain’t broke, then don’t try to fix it

And think of the releases of the past

Adjust the bass and let the features blast

Pop in my Salesforce+ and let me run a query

And put your sandbox on cruise and lay back

'Cause this is summertime 🎵

(Chorus) 🎵 Summer, summer, summertime

Time to sit back and unwind

Summer, summer, summertime

Time to sit back and unwind 🎵

(Verse 2) 🎵 Notes are out, and it’s a sort of a buzz

But back then, I didn’t really know what it was

But now I see what happens

The way that admins respond to release note madness

The features are hot, and devs are stressin’ less

Checkin’ out the updates to tell ‘em what’s best

Ridin’ around in your IDE or your VS Code

Or in your browser sittin’ on Chrome’s road

Back in the org, we’re out in the cloud

A place called the Setup is where everybody goes

Admins out configgin’, devs doin’ likewise

Clickin’ at the buttons in front of you with the bright eyes

They turn around to see what you’re clickin’ at

It’s like the release notes are a natural aphrodisiac

And with a keyboard and mouse, I compose this rhyme

To hit you and get you equipped for the summertime 🎵

(Chorus) 🎵 Summer, summer, summertime

Time to sit back and unwind

Summer, summer, summertime

Time to sit back and unwind 🎵
