Although Mike was not hired as a Salesforce Admin, he still asked a simple question: Could Salesforce help his company work better? That question evolved into a multi-year journey that changed both the system and the organization behind it.
Although Mike was not hired as a Salesforce Admin, he still asked a simple question: Could Salesforce help his company work better? That question evolved into a multi-year journey that changed both the system and the organization behind it.
In this session, Mike Verna, Manager of Data Management and Cash Control at ADMIN partners, shares how he helped lead the effort to evaluate Salesforce, build a business case leadership supported, and guide the company through adopting a new CRM during a period of rapid change.
Mike will talk candidly about what it takes to influence change without formal authority, how to earn trust with leadership, and how deepening his Salesforce skills led him from advocating for the platform to becoming the in house Salesforce Admin. You'll leave with practical ideas you can apply in your own roles, whether you are trying to get Salesforce approved, improve adoption, or grow into a bigger Salesforce role where you are today.
All experience levels welcome. Come with your questions and your curiosity. We'll bring the coffee and bagels.
We meet in the Cherry Hill Public Library's Multicultural Room. When you enter the library, look for the staircase to downstairs on the left. At the bottom of the stairs, hang to the right, and we're down the hall on the left-hand side.
