Mar 26, 8:00 – 10:00 PM (UTC)

Salesforce Admin Group, Milwaukee, United States

The Milwaukee Admin User Group is excited to have Lynda Kane join us to share her experience turning Tech Debt into an opportunty for success. In addition, please feel free to join us before or after for in-person networking opportunities on the 29th Floor of Baird Tower in downtown Milwaukee.

About this event

Transforming Technical Debt into Technical WealthTechnical debt is often viewed as an unavoidable by-product of growth and rapid delivery, especially within complex platforms like Salesforce. However, when managed intentionally, technical debt can become a catalyst for Technical Wealth.  We begin by clearly defining Technical Debt and introducing the concept of Technical Wealth as its strategic counterpart. We will explore how technical debt manifests within Salesforce environments through practical methods for identifying existing technical debt including metadata analysis and Tooling API queries. The session will then focus on actionable strategies to resolve technical debt. Finally, we introduce Technical Wealth: the compounding benefits gained when teams consistently address technical debt. By institutionalizing sustainable development practices, teams can improve system resilience, accelerate delivery, and enhance maintainability. The outcome is not just a cleaner Salesforce org—but a stronger, more capable Salesforce Team. Attendees will leave with practical techniques, concrete Salesforce examples, and a framework for converting technical debt from a liability into a strategic asset. Passcode for meeting: 1234
