About this event

Summer is here and it's time for us to get HOT. Join us for a Hands-On-Training session on the new Salesforce Flow Approvals!

During this session, we will walk through the considerations, design decisions, and setup required to build approvals using Salesforce Flow Approvals. This is the start of a new approval process system that hasn't had major updates in over a decade.

You do not need prior experience or knowledge on building flows, approval processes, or flow orchestrations. Generally knowledge on how to access Salesforce setup and use the quick find is recommended.

Before the meeting please:

For the meeting please:

  • Bring a charged laptop where you can access your developer org

  • Your developer org access information

Schedule

  • 11:45 AM - Doors Open - Arrive promptly so there's plenty of time for check-in & eating. The doors auto-lock at noon, if you arrive after that time we will need to open the door to let you in

  • 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM - Check-in, networking, and lunch (will be provided)

  • 12:45 to 2:30 - Hands on Training & Q&A

  • 2:30 to 3:00 - Clean up

Please note that the actual training may take less time for some and longer for others. The time allotted is to ensure as many participants are able to complete the hands-on-training during the meeting. If we all finish early, we'll open it up for general discussions and circles of success.

This is a hands-on-training and we will not be supporting virtual attendees. This will not be recorded, but the HOT materials will be provided for digitally after the session if you do not get a copy when you attend.

Parking and Building Access

Attendees should enter through the Training Room Entrance, labeled “Door 2” on the east side of the building. They have around 47 parking stalls, so there should be plenty of parking.
