In this hands-on workshop we walk through the release process together, one step at a time. We start with a simple question: what is the difference between a deployment and a release? From there we look at the two ways teams build on the platform, org development and package development, and see where change sets, Git, and the Salesforce CLI each fit. Then we cover the core ideas behind DevOps: keeping a single source of truth, testing automatically, and building pipelines you can trust. We finish with a live demo that brings it all together into a simple, automated release process, with no command line needed.
