Salesforce Developer Group, Portland, United States
Hey there Portland Developers! We attended this session on generating test data at Snowforce in February and we are so excited that the presenter agreed to join us for a PDX DUG so that we can share it with you! In light of Covid-19, we're doing this session virtually so that we can all practice our social distancing.
About the presentation:
What is the last thing you do when building a code-driven feature in Salesforce? If you answered Unit Tests then you are at the right session. Unit testing is often one of the biggest blockers to completing projects on time and is frequently implemented just to cover lines.
In this session we will be using the builder pattern to architect a system of reusable data factories that will substantially cut down time to completion on projects, promote code reuse, and simplify maintainability.
About Anthony Frank:
After spending 7 years as an American Sign Language Interpreter, Anthony Frank found his way to a role as a backend .Net Engineer to start a new career in tech. After several years of implementing completely custom Full Stack solutions Salesforce entered the picture and he hasn't looked back.
Anthony currently works as a Salesforce Engineer for Podium and is always looking to work more efficiently, build better standards, and simplify the Development environment while maintaining scalability.
