About this Meeting

Hi all,

The new year started with a breakfast meetup at Salesforce tower which was a huge success. We might do more breakfast meetups if there is enough interest.

This month we have a very interesting talk from a Salesforce Developer MVP Matt Bingham about writing efficient asynchronous code on the platform.

Asynchronous Processing for Fun & Profit

Developers are invariably exposed to background tasks. Join us for a crash course on all the different flavors of deferred and bulk processing in Apex. Learn to spot antipatterns and common async use cases, while keeping things predictable, testable and developer friendly. We'll cover schedulable, batchable, queueable interfaces, and powerful declarative tools like outbound messaging and lightning connect.

Speaker Bio:

Matt Bingham is a Salesforce Dev MVP and a full stack Australian working with BigAss on Salesforce, Sencha, and all things API.
