The Lightning Component framework provides developers a way to create powerful and easily-reusable pieces of functionality. It changes the way that we traditionally code on the platform, offering exciting and fun opportunities for experienced and new developers alike. Join Thomas Crouse, a 6x certified Salesforce Developer, to learn how to get started building a component, some key differences between using Lightning Components and Visualforce, and see how quickly components can be snapped together for use in standalone apps.

Afterwards, we hope to continue the fun discussions over some drinks at the Allentown Brew Works.

Please come into the building through the front door on Hamilton and into the elevator (or stairs) to the 6th floor suite glass doors entrance. The 6th floor is accessible to anyone via the elevator until 7PM. Follow the sign down the hall and into the meetup area. Thanks!

Parking - You can park in the lot next to the Trifecta building in spaces 2-10. There will be temporary permits just inside of the door to the building. Take one, and display it in your car.
