Salesforce Developer Group, Cleveland, United States
Join us for our monthly Salesforce Developers meet-up. We'll enjoy the nice weather (fingers-crossed) and talk about test classes!
By popular demand, we're going to spend the morning talking about and sharing experiences with writing test classes.
We all know we have to reach the required 75% code coverage to be able to get our code into Production. But how do we do that? And why do so many of us dread trying to get there? Let's explore what we currently think about test classes and whether those are facts or myths. We'll learn ways to re-frame how we think and approach the creation of test classes (and hopefully end up happier about them - really, truly!). We'll also share our own experiences writing (or fixing) test classes and learn about best practices that we can put into place now!
We'll have some sample Apex Classes and we'll talk through how we would create test classes that help us meet code coverage, put into place best practices and move towards truly happy and whole-istic testing in our Salesforce orgs.
