1. A Simple Utility for Cleaner Try/Catch Unit Testing

In this presentation, Larry Polk will demonstrate a novel way to streamline and clarify Try/Catch unit testing in Apex. Using this approach will help you get cleaner Apex code and easier, more targeted unit testing of your Catch blocks by providing a way to mock both standard and custom exceptions without cluttering your production code with Testing.isRunningTesting() blocks.

Larry Polk is a Senior Developer at Endeveran Corporation. He has worked with Salesforce as a development platform nearly exclusively for the past 5 years but has worked on web technologies and software in one form or another for ages. He has a couple of Salesforce certifications and is sporadically working on more. As a self-described unrepentant nerd, Larry loves all the expected stuff: science, technology, comic books, science fiction, and gaming. Most importantly, he's privy to one of the universe's great secrets: Star Trek > Star Wars.

2. Lightning Experience - Building Custom Components - Fusion Risk Management Application Engineer TBD

In this presentation, a Fusion Engineer will demonstrate some Lightning Components we are building in our managed packages. We will share some of the challenges we have faced and have a general discussion on building in Lightning Experience in a complex codebase.
