Salesforce Einstein has been around for 10 years. AgentForce 2.0 was just released in Dec 2024. Much of the conversation is around how to build great agents which assumes you want to do so. In my experience and conversations with fellow consultants and Salesforce staffers, this desire and willingness to leverage the power of agents is far from a majority position.
The data shows that "12.4% believe AI will not have any potential drawbacks." That means 87.6% believe it will - likely related to eroding or eliminating their roles.
This same data states "97% of business owners think using ChatGPT will help their business." The staff within these companies wouldn't be blamed for assuming "help" might mean layoffs, learning curves, and higher complexity in the workplace.
There is likely outright hostility to the idea of agents within most company teams. How can we as Salesforce professionals help this situation?
The path forward must include a cultural shift and alignment within these organizations to the tune of the prior "digital transformation" mantra from a decade ago. As Salesforce professionals and consultants, it is vital that we understand how to lead our clients through these waters. We must provide:
Clarity based on proven data and not misnomers, allergies, and hysteria.
A vision based on agent/staff collaboration and preparation rather than role elimination.
A roadmap that inspires and enlists the team to better serve the growing demands of their diverse and divergent customers.
In this session, we will walk through a specific roadmap you can use in your companies and engagements. This will include:
Key questions, use cases, and considerations to present to staff to validate the unmet needs of customers.
Mapping common scenarios to existing Einstein tools that increase the confidence and batting average of Salesforce A.I.
Ways to target low hanging fruit toward internal assistant agents to build deeper confidence, experience, and skill.
