Hey Big Apple, we're coming to town! Join us for our first ever Force.com developer meetup in New York at the Sheraton Towers on April 8, starting at 5:00 PM. This event lets you learn and explore the Force.com platform, as well as meet our evangelists and tech experts, who will host code consultations as well as Force.com demos. We'll supply the food as well!
Track 1: Intro to Force.com Workshop / Agile Vision Case Study
For those new to Force.com, this track will get you up and building apps in the cloud in no time. The track first introduces you to the Force.com platform and then turns it over to you to create your first cloud app via step-by-step tutorials.
On March 31 this year CA launched the first agile planning app native on Force.com. In this session, we will demonstrate not only a new way for scrum-based development teams to effectively manage application development, it will also show the capabilities of what the Force.com platform can support.
Track 2: Learn to Develop Custom Chatter Apps
This track will introduce chatter from a developer perspective. It shall describe the chatter data model, demonstate, using sample applications, how chatter may be customized, and walk through code examples of performing the most common Chatter development scenarios such as updating a users status, listing followers and subscribers, and working with profile images.
