Greetings!
Please join us for our next meetup on Wednesday, May 29th, at our 123 Mission Street location! I'm very happy to announce that we'll be viewing a few sections from my latest Pluralsight course: Force.com Design Patterns - Part 2. This course was released on May, 2nd and is the sequel to Part 1, released back in November. Details below!
JavaScript Remoting with Knockout.js
This section of the course talks about JavaScript Remoting and concludes with a demo that leverages Knockout.js showing real-time updates from DOM to SObject, synchronizing data with every keystroke.
The Flow Factory Design Pattern
The Flow Factory is a hybrid design pattern that organizes the business logic of a conceptual flowchart into Apex flow steps. It has roots in both the Strategy pattern and the Factory Method while adding a few elements of its own. One key feature is the inclusion of state to account for a specific challenge in Apex development: managing more than one callout in a single execution context as part of a greater aggregate transaction.
