Greetings!
Please join us for our next meetup on Wednesday, July 10th at 123 Mission Street! I'll be kicking things off with a brief demo of a data-driven implementation of the Flow Factory design pattern that we covered last time. The source for this demo is available on GitHub and can also be installed from the AppExchange here.
Then for our main presentation, Varadarajan Rajaram (Raja) will be giving us a tour of Visual Workflow with an emphasis on how Force.com developers can take advantage of its features. After the overview, he will demonstrate creating an Apex class and using it in a flow with the following use case:
An insurance quote process requires that customer data is retrieved from an external source via web service callout. Apex will be embedded in a Visual Workflow to make this callout and return the results for the flow to handle accordingly.
6:00 – 6:30: Networking
6:30 – 6:35: Jobs offered/wanted
6:35 – 6:50: Adam Purkiss - Data-driven Flow Factory demo
