Alisa Herrera-Hayman will share her Admin journey, followed by Ben Edwards who will share his Certified Technical Architect (CTA) journey and provide tangible steps catered to all levels.
The CTA exam is the most rigorous exam that Salesforce offers. Of the ~45,000 certified Salesforce professionals in the world, only 261 are CTAs. If you're unfamiliar with this certification, read about it here.
Women make up only 4% of CTAs worldwide. Let's see what we can do to support our Women in Tech to increase this ratio!

Alisa is a Chilean-American (and almost Kiwi) who is passionate about the environment, diversity & inclusion, and tech for good. She is active in Auckland’s Salesforce community where she runs the Women in Tech group, works as a Salesforce consultant at GravityLab, teaches the Admin course at Tech Futures Lab, and collects 600+ Trailhead badges as well as nine Salesforce certifications.
Alisa loves hearing from inspiring people, learning new languages, exploring vegan restaurants, hiking NZ Great Walks, attending hackathons, minimising waste, and finding ways to do things thoughtfully and a bit unconventionally.
Ben Edwards started his Salesforce journey in 2011 and now is one of the most certified Salesforce professionals in the world. He currently holds 24 certifications including his Certified Technical Architect cert.
