Dec 17, 2018, 5:00 – 8:00 PM
Salesforce Developer Group, Amsterdam, Netherlands
In this meeting we will cover all things related to testing your Apex code and Lightning Components. After this meeting you should have an answer to the following questions: Why should you test your code? What are the best practices to test your code? What different kinds of tests should I use? How can I optimise my tests performance wise? What is this Stub API thing? And more..
Hi Developers!
After the switch from meetup to the new Trailblazer Community Groups we needed some time to get everything arranged, but the good news is: we're back! And before Christmas kicks in, we have a brand new meeting for you: We are going to discuss all things related to Testing your code!
So, bring your laptop and/or notebook because we are going to share a lot of information with you:
Martijn Schwärzer (Technical Architect @Nextview) will take you on a journey on why it is important to write meaningful unit tests (the answer may surprise you!) and the best practices related to Apex unit testing.
Next up will be Jacob Huizenga (Sr. Software Engineer @Fudura) who will take it to the next level and explain how you can optimize your testcode to reduce deployment durations. He will also introduce us to the Stub API (what is it, why is it awesome and how do we use it?) and (if there is time left) how to test your Lightning Components.
Of course, we don't know everything, so bring your own best practices, ideas, optimisations, etc so we can get the discussion going. As always, it will be an interactive session, so please join in on the discussion.
Small disclaimer: This meeting will focus on technical testing only, so we will not cover any functional testing scenario's & tools.
This meeting is sponsored by Salesforce Netherlands, so a big thank you goes out to them, especially Guido Klein Wolterink!
