Since this is going to be our maiden meeting, we will also be discussing and learning how we can all bring our knowledge and expertise together to build a strong and formidable Force holding high the torch of the Salesforce Trailblazer Community Team!

Mrs. Amanda Adu-Amankwah, MPH
Mrs. Amanda Adu- Amankwah is on the management staff of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, where she is a Principal Nursing Officer in Reproductive Health; Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has 30 years of combined experience and expertise in Clinical practice, along with leadership and management in medical and educational environments.
Prior to that she was a Training and Improvement Associate for Ipas, a global non-profit health organization where she provided technical assistance in accordance with a country project plan. In this capacity she was responsible for providing supervision and technical support to service delivery sites, to ensure provision of high-quality care and increased utilization of services.
Amanda was also the Program Manager and Country Representative for JHPIEGO, which is an International non-profit health organization affiliated with Johns Hopkins University. In this role she supported the organization’s initiative to provide Ghana with community-based health planning and services, and more specifically the Cervical Cancer Program.
Amanda has been on several international assignments in Toronto, Canada, Durban, South Africa, Chapel Hill and Baltimore in the US, Tokyo Japan, and Malawi.
She is passionate about the field of Public Health and has been engaged in many activities beyond her scope of responsibilities to ensure that people are safe; and have the requisite training and understanding for preventive healthcare. Through that effort she is affiliated with a US based non-profit, Health Solutions International (HSI) as the Country Representative. HSI provides Emergency Cardiovascular Care and Basic Life Support training to healthcare professionals, students of medicine, pharmacy, and nursing.
Amanda is a certified state registered nurse and Midwife, has a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Ghana, Legon; and a BSc in Administration from the Catholic Institute of Business Technology.
