As of May 22, 2025, the Trailblazer Community Groups program has officially surpassed 200,000 members across our 800+ global user groups! That means over 200,000 Trailblazers have raised their hands to join at least one of our community groups, and many are part of multiple. In fact, it’s not uncommon for some members to be active in 10 or more groups!
Why? Because at the heart of this award-winning program is something truly special: a community powered by knowledge, mentorship and connection.
In cities like London, the Salesforce ecosystem is vibrant, it's common to find monthly meetings for Admins, Developers, Architects, Women in Tech, and more. With so many active groups, it’s easy to see how someone might join several groups. And London is just one example! Many metro areas around the world are home to five or more groups, offering countless opportunities to learn and connect.
When the world shifted in March 2020, so did we. The Trailblazer Community pivoted almost overnight from a primarily in-person experience to a fully virtual one. Since then, we’ve expanded our reach to include virtual-only groups- covering themes like mental health, language-specific learning (like Salesblazer Japanese), and industry-based connections (like Life Sciences or Insurance). And now, as many groups return to in-person formats, hybrid events are opening even more doors for participation.
Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting our incredible community leaders through it all—from lockdowns to leadership transitions to milestone celebrations like this one. Watching this community grow has been nothing short of inspiring. Even more impressive? Our membership growth is accelerating. Over the last six months, we’ve seen our monthly growth jump to an average of 1.8%, and if we keep up this pace, we’ll be celebrating 250,000 members in just over a year. (Yes, I’m a data nerd and proud of it!)
But beyond the numbers, what matters most is what each one represents: a Trailblazer. A person who shows up at meetings, shares knowledge, asks questions, and builds connections. Someone we may have met at Dreamforce or TDX, on a virtual event screen, at a local community conference or even over coffee.
To our community leaders: thank you for your passion, creativity, and commitment to creating spaces where Salesforce professionals can grow in their careers and thrive.
To our members: thank you for being curious, generous, and all-in on this journey with us. Whether you joined one group or twenty, whether you’re new or have been here from the beginning, you are what makes this community so powerful.
Here’s to each of the 200,000+ Trailblazer Community Group members and to the next chapter of blazing trails, together.
With gratitude,
The Trailblazer Community Team
